Spencer Couch

Sales Desk Advisor

Spencer comes to Paradigm Life with a unique professional background. After graduating with Honors from the University of Utah with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both German and Political Science, Spencer attended the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah, receiving his Juris Doctor. After law school, Spencer started his own law practice, focusing mainly on estate planning, tax resolution, and bankruptcy. His practice also included business/corporate organization, contract drafting, real estate law, alternative dispute resolution, litigation, and personal injury law. Spencer still maintains a small practice in the area of estate planning. Spencer is licensed to practice before Utah State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah.

When exposed to the many living benefits of whole life insurance, Spencer’s first reaction was disbelief. After several years as an estate planner, he had never heard of the concept and thought it sounded too good to be true. Being a fact-finder by nature, and a cynic due to his law school education, he consumed as much information about the concept as he could get his hands on. After reviewing all of the information available, Spencer became convinced of the benefits of using the Paradigm approach to life insurance and decided he wanted to be a part of it. He decided to shut down his practice and join the Paradigm Life team.

Spencer is married with 3 kids. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, skiing and being outdoors in general. He was raised in Utah, and enjoys all of the recreational activities Utah has to offer.
